Shane Kruchten founded War Rhino Inc. in 2018, bringing with him over two decades of diverse construction experience across multiple trades. A proud father, Marine Corps veteran, and the son of a resilient minority woman and an immigrant father, Shane’s values of hard work, perseverance, and integrity were instilled early and remain at the core of his leadership.
Shane was introduced to the construction industry at a young age through his father, a skilled tradesman who immigrated to the United States in pursuit of a better life. This early hands-on exposure sparked a lifelong passion for building and laid the foundation for his career in construction.
A United States Marine Corps Veteran, Shane served honorably until his medical release in 2005. Following his military service, he transitioned into the construction industry full-time, applying the discipline and leadership skills gained in the Marines to his work as a dedicated carpenter, contributing to the growth of San Diego’s skyline.
In 2008, Shane joined a state and federal contracting firm, where he quickly advanced to lead superintendent. There, he managed crews and oversaw large-scale projects ranging from $10 million to $30 million, demonstrating his ability to lead complex operations and deliver results under pressure.
Driven by a vision to build a company rooted in professionalism, accountability, and excellence, Shane launched War Rhino Inc. in 2018. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a trusted name in residential and commercial construction, known for its high standards and client-first approach.
